Hillside Service Event
An opportunity to show God's love to others through a bit of service! (Which is always more fun when done with friends. 😉) **Please consider signing up as soon as possible.** Timeliness requested by Habitat for planning purposes. We'd love to have you join us as we serve together!

About the Event

We are hosting a service event work day with Habitat for Humanity! If you're not familiar, Habitat is a Christian charity focused on addressing substandard housing. Their mission statement is "Seeking to put God’s love into action," which aligns nicely with Hillside's mission. Volunteer service like this is very important for believers. It is an opportunity to testify of Christ's love in us in a very clear way that the world can see. Plus, Habitat is a well-run organization when it comes to these sorts of events, and they have a track record is making a real difference. No experience needed! Date and Time: Saturday, August 24, 10:00am ~ 3:00pm
Location: Fowlerville, MI 48836 (Address location will be provided to private group a few days before the event).
One of our main missions with Hillside is that we will become more effective servants in God’s Kingdom, and we think this is such a great way to do it. We want Hillside not just a place to hang out together, but also to be a place to serve together.

Also, huge thanks to Caleb and Kaila, for all of the work that they are putting in to organize this. They have lots of experience serving in the community through projects just like this. We couldn’t think of a better couple to be leading this service event!
